Chemical Peel Therapy

Reveal Your Best Skin

At Ego, we believe that true radiance starts with a flawless canvas.

Our advanced Chemical Peel therapy is a transformative, science-backed treatment designed to accelerate your skin's natural renewal process.

Whether you are looking to erase years of sun damage, smooth uneven texture, or simply restore a youthful, luminous glow, our tailored chemical peels offer a highly effective solution.

How It Works

What is it?

A chemical peel is a clinical skin-resurfacing procedure. During the treatment, a bespoke blend of carefully formulated acid is applied to the skin. This solution gently but effectively dissolves the bonds holding dead, damaged cells together on the skin's surface.

As these outer layers naturally shed, they reveal the fresh, healthy, and highly receptive skin underneath, while simultaneously stimulating your body’s natural collagen and elastin production.

The Preparation & Treatment

The treatment area is meticulously cleansed and degreased to ensure the peel penetrates evenly and effectively.

The chemical solution is carefully applied using a brush or gauze. You may experience a mild, temporary tingling, warmth, or a tight sensation as the active ingredients get to work.

Aftercare

You will be sent home with a customised, simple aftercare regimen to support the peeling process (which typically begins 2–4 days post-treatment) and protect your results.

The Consultation & Mapping:

We begin with a thorough skin analysis to determine your skin type, concerns, and suitability. We will select the specific peel depth (superficial, medium, or deep) and acid blend tailored entirely to your needs.

Neutralization

Depending on the type of peel used, the solution will either self-neutralise or be actively neutralised and removed by your practitioner after a precise amount of time.

Soothing and Protection

We conclude the treatment by applying calming serums, a rich moisturiser, and a broad-spectrum SPF to protect your newly vulnerable skin.

Treatment Areas

While traditionally associated with the face, chemical peels at Ego are highly versatile and can dramatically improve the skin's appearance across various areas of the body.

Split Face Comparison

Face

  • The face is the most common area treated, exposed daily to environmental stressors. Peels are highly effective for:

  • Hyperpigmentation: Fading sunspots, melasma, and age spots.

  • Acne and Congestion: Clearing active breakouts, unclogging pores, and reducing the appearance of acne scarring.

  • Ageing: Softening fine lines, wrinkles, and improving overall skin laxity.

  • Texture and Tone: Smoothing rough patches and brightening a dull complexion.

Neck & Decolletage

  • The skin on the neck and chest is delicate and often shows signs of aging and sun damage before the face does.

  • Sun Damage: Reversing mottled pigmentation and "crepey" skin texture on the chest.

  • Uneven Tone: Creating a seamless, uniform skin tone that matches your rejuvenated face.

  • Firmness: Encouraging collagen production to gently tighten mild laxity.

  • Lightens surface blemishes, evens skin tone and brightens skin tone.

  • Reduces open pores and controls oil production.

  • Visible reduction of acne scars and smooths skin.

Legs With Scars

What is the

Down Time?

  • Superficial (Light) Peels have zero downtime.

  • Medium-Depth Peels: You should anticipate 3 to 7 days of visible flaking or peeling.

  • Deep Peels: Requiring up to two weeks of downtime.

Skin Treatment Procedure

Ideal Sessions

The number of sessions required depends entirely on your skin's starting point and the depth of the peel utilised. However, for optimal, long-lasting results, we generally recommend:

  • Superficial (Light) Peels: Ideal for a quick refresh. We recommend a series of 3 to 6 sessions, spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart.

  • Medium-Depth Peels: Designed for deeper pigmentation, acne scarring, and moderate ageing. We recommend 1 to 3 sessions, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.

  • Deep Peels: For profound skin correction. This is typically a single, transformative session.

  • Maintenance: To sustain your glowing results, we recommend a maintenance peel every 1 to 3 months, alongside a medical-grade home skincare routine.

Beyond the Face

Neck & Décolletage:

"Tech neck" (horizontal ring lines) and vertical chest wrinkles are treated using thinner dermal fillers or skin boosters to hydration and smooth crepey skin.
